Coming from a background in physics, having completed a degree in Astrophysics in 1999 Chris has always been interested in how the world works and how different paradigms fit together. After feeling that he had sufficiently studied, at least in a formal manner, the physical world Chris turned his attention back to more internal matters. This began with an interest in meditation and the mind and later expanded to include t'ai chi ch'uan in 2004. This is where his interest in healing and Chinese Medicine truly began.
Having noticed the benefits of practicing tai chi he became interested in the Chinese system of health care in its wider context. This, combined with a desire to help others and apply what he had learned, led him to studying acupuncture at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He completed his training in 2010 and now holds a LicAc and BSc in Acupuncture and is a member of The Federation of Holistic Therapists.
Following this, in order to further his skills and add a more physical element to his practice he trained in Thai Yoga Massage (Naub Bo-Rarn) with the ITM school of Thailand in 2011.
Currently Chris is training with the T'ien Te Tao school as a Tai Chi instructor.
